Question about Mitsubishi Minivan

I spend at least 10 mins to warm up my 1997 chariot every time we plan to go out if i dont then it wont even move. but even when i do warm her up the engine starts going mad like im trying to race every1 or something.it looks like its redlining cause the needle sits on 5 for a few seconds reving like mad then it jolts forward once its finished making a raquet of a noise. does any 1 know what the hell is going on with it i just bought this car off a dealership too.

If I am understanding you this is van conversion?
From what your saying that it is doing I suggest you have the Mass Air Sensor replaced AKA MAS replaced. Hope this helps it is a common problem with chevy

You did everything I will suggest in normal case.only one step you miss!
Remove the crank sensor and stick 4 layer of masking tape,turn the engine to point were the ring is full(no hole)and install the sensor again.Use scan tool and learn the new position of the sensor.when the sensor move the timing move to ,if your flex plate is lose or damage will give the wrong angle for cyl.#1 After computer register misfire wil go to fail safe mode and set the timing to 10 degree

Why won't it start what should i do


from what i am seeing alot of people that have your type of vehicle went with different cars because of all the things that are messing up on the 2002 Mitsubishi Diamante, i personally would not spend endless amts of money trying to fix something that is just gonna keep breaking down, but that is just my opinion.what i would suggest is that you need to decide for your self what you want to you, do you want to keep spending money that you dont really have to just spend money for a vehicle that wont break down every 10 min, think smart not hard,

Once it warms up it starts acting like its not getting enough gas. it gets so bad you cant get over 10 miles an hour, but then let it set for about an hour and it runs fine once again till it warms up...


when the car warms up do's it smell like roten eggs or sulfor it could be a pluged convertor if it shows any codes that would help to find the problem

1997 s-10 truck runs for about 20 min after that shuts off


replace the fuel pump relay.if all good .do a compression test .if it pass test i am looking at ignition components.

Car wont start


Try this Put your key in turn it on dont start wait 10 mins remove key wait 10 seconds repeat this a total of 3 times. If that dont work try a different key do the same thing. If that dont work a dealer needs to probably replace and reprogram your ignition switch and keys

2000 F-250 7.3 diesel, cuts out runs rough no power


Well, you have to let diesels warm up before you drive them so the engine gets warm and it may not sound right at first because if its not warm the compression gets off and doesnt fire right. If you try to give it too much gas before its warm, extra diesel will get in the cylinders and misfire. Then when it does fire, there is a lot of extra fuel in it so that causes the smoke and smell. You should always let it warm up for a bit before driving when you havent driven it for a while.
