I am trying to find out what is making my front end grind on passenger side when i drive down the road on 2000 ford taurus

Check the front brake rotor. When the brake pads wear down too far they will make a grinding noise. I am not sure what sound the axle makes when they begin to wear out. I would check the boot that covers the axle joint for any damage.

Cayenne s 2003 dash warning light brake proportioning . Solution?

Not sure if you've solved your problem but I do have the answer. Also you failed to state that your vehicle will not go into drive because of this warning, which is generally the situation. When the drain ports under the hood clog, moisture runs down under the rug on the interior causing the wiring harness connectors on both sides of your vehicle to corrode. You need to remove the kick plates that cover the rug. Pry the rug away to expose a plastic shroud that covers the harness, just in front of each front seat on the floor. At this time you'll probably notice how wet the rug and it's foam backing is. Dry this out with towels and a hair dryer. Remove the harness cover. You'll see a clear plastic cover and a harness which looks like it's covered in electrical tape. Unwind the tape. This will expose the harness and connectors. If I can remember correctly, there is three connectors on each side, driver's and passenger's. See how corroded they are. Some maybe broken off. Cut back and clean these wires. Before connecting them, use a fine sand paper to clean the wires. Make sure these connectors are facing up and now cover them better than Porsche did. I used electrical tape and plastic wrap, followed by black plastic pull ties. The drain hoses, terminate under the vehicle, just in front of both doors. You'll also need to remove the plastic covers under the hood on both sides of the engine compartment beside the wipers. This will expose the firewall where the drains are generally full of debris like small sticks and rotting leaves. You'll save at least $2000 doing this yourself. Not knowing how to do this, it took me approx. 3 hrs. to do the job correctly. Good luck.

Where is the underhood fuse panel on a 2007 impala?

It's located on the passenger side near the firewall under a black plastic cover about 6" X 6" square. Also, there is another fuse panel inside of the car, again on the passenger side in the "kick panel" in front of the door and under the glove compartment.

The front wipers of my 1998 BMW 528i are not working

Hi angel,

I would recommend first starting with checking the fuse. The fuse for the wipers is located in the glove box. If the fuse checks out ok, I would recommend checking the wiper relay.You will need to remove the passenger microfilter cover under the hood. First remove the filter cover. Then release the tabs holding the delivery tube to the filter housing. The housing lifts up and rotates out out to the side. Under the housing you will find a white plastic cover being held in place with 4 allen bolts. Using a 5mm allen remove the bolts. Once removed, under the cover you will see several control units and fuses and relays. Look for the BROWN relay. That relay is for your wiper/washer system. They do fail after a while. When reassembling the cover. make sure it is seated correctly, if not water can enter the electronics and create problems down the road.

Yeah, you can do that or you can go to an auto supply store and get new fasterners and re-install. That piece is basically like a skid plate it is to protect the undercarriage from the rocks and other road debris from popping up and damaging engine/vehicle components.

I have a 2005 ford freestyle the ac is fully charged the rear works great the front passenger side is ok but the drivers side is warm about 20 degrees difference between the drivers side an passenger

there is a door that directs cold or hot air behind the dashboard in order to make the passenger's side colder or hotter relative to the driver's side.
The a/c door servo may be bad, or the temperature settings for each zone are not balanced.
In-vehicle Temperature Sensor Removal & Installation
  1. For the Five Hundred and Montego;
    • Lower the steering column to the full tilt-down position.
    • Remove the instrument cluster finish panel screws.
    • Release the locking tabs on the steering column upper shroud located behind the steering wheel.
    • Remove the instrument cluster finish panel and the steering column upper shroud as an assembly.
  2. For the Freestyle;
    • Remove the lower steering column cover.
    • Remove the lower steering column shroud.
    • Disconnect the electrical connector from the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
  3. Remove the in-vehicle temperature sensor.
To Install:
  1. Reverse the removal procedure to install.
