P0014 Infiniti Exhaust Valve Timing Control Performance Bank 1
Click the above link for info on this fault code.
I read your comments and one thing stood out, you don't understand what Premium means when it comes to gasoline, all fuel is the same except for what is called Octane rating, Octane just means the fuel burns slower, it is not Premium as you understand the word with other goods we buy, so unless your owners manual recommends using high Octane (premium) u are throwing money down the drain and you may cause problems with engine.

SOURCE: Pls where is Swirl Control Solenoid Valve located in Infiniti QX4
This link shows the location of the SCV, If your motor is different the location should be similiar. http://img510.imageshack.us/img510/5687/vacuumdiagramuh3.jpg
There's a vaccuum line that runs off the SCV to the SCV check switch.
P0442: Have you inspected the lines, charcoal cannister etc? Make sure the fuel cap is tight. The easiest way to check the system is to have someone perform a smoke test. I had a DTC on my car which indicated a EVAP problem, it turned out to be the Fuel tank evaporator Control Solenoid.
SOURCE: tuoble code p 1444 purge control solenoid valve
The purge control is to allow the engine to **** gas vapors out of the charcoal canister that vents the gas tank. It will be in the engine compartment, and you should be able to see the canister as a cylinder about 4 inches in diameter and maybe 8 inches high. Follow the tubing to a valve that goes to the intake manifold. The valve should shut off at idle, but open at higher speeds. There is also a diagram in the engine compartment that shows where it is.

beleive it or not changing the oil if dirty will solve this code, also found that connector gets oil in it and that also makes p1345 code turn on, open connector and look for oil in it,look at sensor and actuator plugs for oil,the main plug connector is the actuator plug it fills with oil and makes contact between pins setting p1345 code, hope this helps.

Hi guys, I was really worried about this code and answers from folks. Just want you to know I appreciate your quick response. Well after checking the internet and trying to figure out what to do first, I decided to change my oil which I do on a regular basis. I use synthetic oil and only put premium has in car, so there was never any motor problems, no hesitation, no jerking or anything, always get up and go. That's why I was shocked my mechanic said it was the engine. Anyway, since I changed oil, the code disappears after 2 days of driving. Praying for the best
