you have shutter actuators that are mounted externally on you heater core enclosure inbetween your dash and firewall most likely in center. if not in center then behind glove box.

There are four fuse and relay boxes,one under the glove compartment of the front passenger side,another on the side of the driver's side dashboard,another on d lower right side of the rear passenger centre console,and the last containing three relays,in the left rear trunk compartment under the cd loader

Driver side AC on 2003 Mercedes E500 does not blow cold air.


this problem is A/c system leaking.add enough freon R134A will solve the problem .but you must check where is leaking important.

More than likely you are low on freon. They will blow cold on the right then quit when low. If it is making a hissing noise charge system now. It is a process to get it going again with the computer climate control.

you my the vacuum valve and vacuum connection,open your hood,left side near windshield,remove the cover ,make sure all vacuum connection are fitted..one vacuum valve maybe deff. or not proper connected,causes hot air come.
