The window riser motor is fried or u can try replacing the carbon brush but its too much work... just buy a new riser motor and replace it, u need a knife or similar tool to remove the door panel.. dont damage the plastic lock... ur gonna need it when your done replacing the riser.
youre going to need socket wrench to remove the riser bracket... usually 10mm. socket'll do removing is easy... just try to remember the sequence of your removal... then when your done replacing the motor, install the components you removed in reverse.... Qoute "first in last out" reverse engineering motto....

Is there a relay in the door panel of a 2000 buick lesabre that controls the window

No. The switch provides current over two wires directly to the motor. The switch also reverses polarity internally to move the window in the opposite direction. If your motor wont turn, use a meter to check for voltage. My switch went bad and would only roll the window down and not up. Had to buy a whole new switch.

Window switch

loose fuse, or weak fuse (micro cracks) or bad wires , bad connectors
it can only be 3 things, power fuse, wires, switch or motor.
cant be motor as you are doing them all.

Window went down wont go back up

It's probably the window regulator inside the door. It's also probably a cable setup. They aren't hard to replace, just make sure you don't drop the window. Cost around $100

Drivers window quit working, I replaced the switch and it still wont work, starts to work but stops

window motor has gone bad old and worn out let me guess when it does work it barely wants to move then finally gives up. that sounds like your problem. Theres also another thing some window motors have a stoping point I guess you could say like a memory I had a bmw one that the window went half way down and then would stop plenty of power it would go right back up no problem and back to the same spot when I rulled it down thats because it believed the window was all the way down I had to unbolt the window motor push the button to roll the motor all the way up and manully put the window all the way up then bolt the motor back on but you shouldnt run into this unless you just replaced the window motor so to answer your question replace the motor also its not a relay or fuse if it was you would have problems with all the other windows

My front drivers side electric window has stopped working it wont go up or down

those things last about 10 years, and the most used window generally dies first, go figure. Find and buy a new window regulator on eBay or at a parts store. If you can not find one you will have have to pay through the nose at a dealer parts department. Do not just buy a lift motor, you want an entire new regulator which includes a motor.

Take the car and the new regulator to a glass shop which does auto glass. For about 50 bucks they will put it in for you. That is a bargain.

Window is stuck it wont go up but it makes nosies when you press the up and down button

Lincoln Town Car window electric motors (do not lift window) ::
Problem is usually not the regulator cables like other cars--
window motors on Lincolns have a set of 3 small plastic pieces about 3/8" dia. and about 1/4" long that act as "shear keys" these tend to age and then shatter, leaving everything running but no UP
against the weight and friction of the windows. you CAN get the window up by pulling up on the glass while someone presses the
UP button. Taking the motor out and either replacing the whole thing with a new motor ($75 at Advantage Parts, with the correct plug already on the wires is what I did), then disassembled the
motor and said *!#!* and then went on line and found a little kit with the three plastic parts for about $3 /set. BIG problem is that to
GET the motors out, you have to DRILL OUT THE RIVETS that
hold the window regulator guides and cable assemblies in place,
get to the motors mounting screws, fix them, then put motor back in
and replace the rivets with screws/nuts/lockwashers. You have
to do this to replace the motor anyway! ALTERNATE to on-line
plastic parts is to go to Home Depot and buy some plastic rod the
right dia. and carefully hacksaw out some very short lengths of
the plastic rod. Been fixing them this way since then, one
window at a time as they quit working. 1992 towncar uses the
SAME MOTOR on the RF and LR, and different motor on the LF
and the RR; same motors are used on some other older Ford
and Mercury full-size cars. See parts store for parts # lists.
The ones Advantage sells are Bosch motors, others at OReilly
etc are various brands or non-brands and you have to splice wires.
