Question about 2003 Jeep Wrangler
On mine they are on time delay and just went out after a minute or so. There is also an override fuse in the fusebox, which is located behind the glovebox.

Pull the interior light fuse,or try the dome override switch

There is an after market "kill switch" you can install somewhere in the vicinity of the dash near the sterring wheel.
