The easiest way is to buy a bunch of cheap degreaser spray cans. Soak the engine & using a brush so you can loosen the heavy dirt & grease. Once youve cleaned & washed down with water. Repeat if necessary. Leave to dry. Now every destination you travel to after this, you should find your oil leak quite easily

First completely clean all the oil and road dirt from the engine and the transmission and surrounding areas, then drive it for about 10 miles and go under and try to see the leak on the clean surfaces.

Just had replace timing belt now oil leak from cover, new seals water pump ? what went wrong

Sounds like the seal either did not get put on right or else it slipped during assembling the front cover back on. If you are concerned about where the leak is coming from you can put dye in the oil and check for a leak with a black light to make sure it is the timing cover leaking.

Hi were do I pour the transmission oil for my mitsubishi V6 Magna 1997

There should be a dip stick where you pull it out to check your fluid level of the automatic transmission. You check it while the car is running and in park and warmed up. To put transmission fluid in, you would get a funnel to fit the opening of the dipstick hole. First take out dipstick, place funnel into the hole and pour the fluid into the funnel. Depending how low your level is, it will not take a lot to bring the level back up to normal. Pour some in and check level. DO NOT OVER FILL!

I have a mitsubishi magna 1998, 3.0 and its started leaking heaps of oil.

If your engine is leaking oil.. DO NOT use "stop leak"..it only mask the real issue.. if you are leaking as much as you say... you need to have this looked at by a qualified professional...it WILL save you (and your engine) $$$$$$ in the long run...

Hi i am trying to stop my mitsubishi magna 1998 from blowing smok

You could try stp stop smoke, engine oil additive, but as you know this is a temporary thing to do, and it will propably smoke even worse, at first, until it puts a seal around the worn parts.
