You need a repair manual.to get you started you going have to remove top radiator hose.you also have to remove clutch and fan as a assembly from water pump.you going have to remove fan shroud with clutch and fan as a assembly to make it easy to get out.once you remove fan and clutch.you have to remove clutch from fan.in order to put on a new one.

one fan should run only when its hot or the AC is on.
sometimes, the fan will run a little after you shut off the engine to cool the system off.

Water is over heating when air conditioner is running. Temp is fine when air conditioner is off. Changed radiator fluid and thermostat. Fan is running and water pump seems to be ok.

My suspicion is that the fans may be coming on but they are not picking up speed when you turn on the A/C. Your car would have some of relay to control the speed of the fan whenever the A/C was turned on. This relay system would also increase the speed at which the fans run when the engine heat turns them on too.

Try starting the car cold and turning on the A/C right. Even though the engine is cold the rad fan should start up when you switch on the A/C. Once the engine gets hot the fan speed should increase accordingly when you switch on the A/C.

I'm not familiar with how Chrysler makes this work so I'm unsure what to repair but this is most likely your problem. Hope this helps.

Engine fan turns itself on the moment I turn the ignition key on even when it is very cold. Also the oil gauge shows engine oil as low even when there is enough oil

The engine fan is controlled by a relay and a radiator temperature switch.
Unplug the switch at the radiator, and if the fan still runs, the relay is stuck on.
If you unplug the relay, it should stop. If not, you did not pull correct relay.

Engine oil gauge is for pressure, not level. And pressure should always drop at idle speeds. As long as it is over 40 psi when at higher speeds, then oil should be ok. Normally at idle, the pressure will drop as low as 7 psi.

93 villager runs good, but temp. gauge runs up to the hot line, but never runs hot. is the a colling fan that should go on.

the cooling fan should come on low speed and then high speed as it gets hotter.

The fan should come on anytime the a/c clutch engages, even cold engine.
3 cooling fan realys in battery box in front of battery. controlled by signal from engine coolant sensor. siganl from engine computer.

Have the radiator mounted fan checked.

It may not be turning on when you use the A/C.

2001 Kia Sportage fuse 4 radiator fan?

Radiator fan fuse is fuse # 5 (40 amp/Green) located behind the interior fuse access panel on the left side of the instrument panel next to the steering column. Also, in the underhood Power distribution center, next to the air cleaner filter are two black fan relays: high speed (F) at the far left, second row down and a low speed, 1st one to the right on the bottom row.
