2001 Chrysler Town & Country getting 9.6 mpg

yes you need a new thermostat or there is low coolant. this will affect the mpg because your overheating and thats why its stalling. dont drive until you fix or you will blow your head gasket if it isnt blown already. change thermostate and check coolant.

2002 Town & Country minivan, bought it used. Second time I drove it, speedometer stopped working. What could cause that??

Sounds like it could be the speed sensor, it's located on the transaxel just about where the right side axel goes in, try un-plugging it and plugging it back in.

My 2001 town and country van ran great for a while since i had it not even a month I drove it 12 miles and turned it off and then started it and it started and then died again started and died now it will...

first try and pulled the code first...it will lead you to the source of the problem if not try cranking it and watch the rpm if it moving while your starting it..if not than you need to change the electronic control module....that control the primary spark that go to the coil...so it should located close to the coil pack

While test driving a 2002 t&c van in l.a. traffic, it ran to the higher side of center with ac on. normal for 108,000 miles?

Absoultely normal, temp is not mileage related...What need to happen is the fans come on. It is good to generate temprature, leads to longevity. The fans should cycle on and off.

1996 Town and country new battery.. Drove car 10 miles went to get in the next day car did not start once jumped the car will start. what could it be?

Make sure the battery connections are clean and tight. Can be a Defective alternator or something is pulling power from the battery. If you have a multimeter test the DC voltage at the battery with the engine running. You should see at least 13.5 volts. Any less and the alternator is weak or bad. If it checks good and you cannot find anything that is on, such as glove box, under hood, trunk, courtesy, or dome lights, then drive to a trusted auto parts store and have them check the electrical charging system.

I work for a brake repair shop and trust me you are not alone.Enterprise and alot of other people bought the same van and had the same trouble.I hate to say but it doesnt stop there.About every 14 to 15 thousand miles you have to replace the front pads.As of now they dont have an upgrade, for instance ceramic pads, but I am sure they will very soon

2001 town & country. My airbag/seat belt light came on, cruise control and horn stopped working. Dealer said it was the "clock spring" and usually covered as a recall item.
