Computer said change oxygen sensors

If you had codes that indicated that it was lean on these trucks what its really saying is

Ok, lets first let you understand whats being seen and commanded.

Computer tries to maintian a fuel ratio 14.7 to 1. If you have a air leak that the computer cannot compensate for, it wont be able to add enough fuel to get the the desired ratio. So the 02 sensor sees the excess air and sets a code.

The same can be said for fuel. If you have a weak fuel pump or clogged fuel filter it would not allow enough fuel and the excess air would be seen by the 02 sensor.

When you get two sides with codes at the same time we look at whats common like a vacuum leak or fuel pressure. Also a car that needs a tune-up real bad would do the same thing if you couldnt create a good burn in the cylinder.. Also an exhaust leak could cause this if the leak was just before the 02 sensor.
