Question about Saab 9000

I have a 1988 saab 9000 and the fuel tank door wont open and i cant find the manual release for it

I had the same thing happen. There is no manual release, which means you have to replace the fuse that is blown causing it to lock. It was the central lock fuse in my case. But as I was almost out of gas and at the gas station, I had to pry it open....Not the best thing but it worked.

1994 Saab Areo 9000 power locks will not work therefore cannot open gas door. Tried changing fuse but that didn't work

Check fuse #15 if you have not done so & check in the trunk for a manual over ride under the tool kit. The 90-92 models had one, not sure if your model does. I don't have a lot of info on the 94 A 9000-- Maybe a Saab expert will chime in with more advise.

Where is the unlocking mechanism for the fuel cap on a 1997 saab

the fuel door release should be located on the driver door or beside the driver seat. there is also a manual override cable located under the carpet near the fuel door in the trunk.

it is by the fuel tank maybe under the license plate sometimes there is also a door on side of car that gives you access to the cap

I dropped the fuel tank and i cant figure out how to open the tank to get to the fuel pump

usually typically its a ring you have to turn clockwise or counter to release it ....make sure all the dirt is cleaned off top of tank before you do this

Just bought 1993 saab cse hatchback can't open the gas door is there a release somewhere

Make sure that you unlock the power locks. If you doors are locked the door to the gas cap locks also.

Read your owners manual for the correct location but look around your drivers compartment for a lever. usually they are located at teh foot of the drivers seat

in the boot behid the tool tray on the right side ther is a cable with a yellow platic thing hanging pull this and your flap will unlock

Hatch wont release

have you checked your inside door lights,if they are off, you,ve a blown fuse, think itts number 22 on fuse board.i changed mine and it solved my problem....

is there a rip cord in the trunk usually has a little handle on it for this exact purpose. may be hidden
