Question about 1999 Ford Expedition
There is a fuse in the black fuse box under the hood that runs the alternator field. It is a 20 amp fuse. Black box is located by the master cylinder by the firewall.

YOU MAY HAVE A VOLTAGE DRAIN IF ALT LIGHT IS OUT NOW AND BATTERY DOESN'T HAVE A BAD CELL. TEST AT POSTS,SHOULD HAVE 14.1-14.4V CHARGING. MAKE SURE NO FUSABLE LINKS ARE BLOWN EITHER. GOOD LUCK!
