Question about 1993 Nissan Altima

1 Answer

How do I replace a fuel injector in a 1993 nissan altima? We have tried pulling it out with pliers and a screw driver and such, but we just can't seem to get it out. Is there anything special to removing them?

93 altima same fuel injector goes bad 2 times in 1 month

how did you find out it is the injector causing the problem? the injectors are wired in series on these vehicles, it is possible that another faulty injector may be causing the problem. although it may be difficult to find if this happens intermittently. A scope test may be the only way to find the problem. Does the engine light come on with a misfire code on Cylinder #1? P0301 or r u just getting a random misfire code P0300 ? a bit more info on the vehicle may also be helpful........ engine size? # of cylinders 4 or 6 ?

1993 nissan altima is putting fuel through exaust

HI. this could be a faulty injector(stuck slightly open), or a faulty fuel pressure regulator(ruptured diaphragm). I would inspect these spots on the engine asap.

1995 nissan altima fuel cut off

Your fuel filter could be stopped up, injectors could be stopped up or there may even be a fuse for fuel. May also be your fuel pump, which is generally in the fuel tank. If you turn your ignition on, don't crank it, see if you can hear a whining noise coming from the gas tank neck(where you put the gas in). Hopefully that is NOT your problem.

check the fuses to the fuel pump...... one is under the hood on the drivers side and the other under the dash. I f both are good then chek to see if you can hear the fuel pump running when you turn on the ignition...if not it may be a bad pump...the other problem may be electrical
