With the engine running use a volt meter to check battery voltage with the head lights on, should be around 14 volts on a 12 volt system, if 12 volts or less the regulator or alternator is at fault . if around 14 volts there is a drain or short, the battery could also be faulty.

do you have coolant in the truck? if so the next thing to check would be the thermostat. if that goes bad or sticks it wouldn't let any water pass thru to the motor.does your a/c work if so in might be the heater coil gone bad if it's not the thermostat.

Well Check your oil preshure with a proper gauge!
may have not sufisiant oil preshuire!!! or it might just be a faulty preshure senser!
Better that than defective oil pump! use caution as insefitient oil preshure will lead to ireprable engine dammage!!!!!

2003 Dodge Ram 1500 Fuel Gauge drops to empty while driving.

I have the same problem on my 2003 Dodge Ram 2500 5.7 Hemi. Also the gauge is sometimesslow to register after filling. Maybe 5 minutes.My neighbor has the same poblem with his 1999 Durango? I think this is a job for a recall.

The brake and ABS light both come on when you are receiving no speed signal. Most likely the speed sensor in the top of the rearend is bad.

My 2001 dodge ram 1500 5.2 v-8 check gauges light comes on and the battery gauge is not charging half way and as soon as I drive it , the gauge goes to none charging but I can drive it and it doesn't give...

on the alternator did you put the little washers where the regulator bolts on back of the alt they must be tight and also the ground cable from the battery to the alt bracket must be tight and grounded sounds like a loose connection
the washers go between the alternator and wires coming out of the harness and the alt also it probalbly goes dead occasionally when you crank it up
