Check fuse 14 in the fuse box on the side of the dash. It's red and it's 10amp. If that's not blown it's probably a problem with your CCM - convenience control module.

After you check and test the fuses and breakers, look for voltage present. Then, look for a grounding problem. Many items out at once,or intermittent power, points to a problem with a lack of, or a poor ground. LB

could be the drains but most likely from spoiler leaking past the seals or wheel wells rusted out or caulk from seams is it when you wash car or rain it rains check it out use a garden hose for water test

Have you tried checking to see if you have current at the starter? If not, check the starter relay and or fusable link.

under the bonnet near the battery is a fuse supply box ,with metal strip fuses ,check these first and the electrical connections to the box

Sunroof wont shut manually with tool


It may be a motor issue but there should be a plastic nut for manually moving the sunroof in the trunk. Check your owners manual. If that works then it is the motor, if not its a linkage binding issue.

i cant help you with anything but the radio, but dont just check the fuse-you have to actually remove it for about one minute and put it back in. it shuold then work! ughhhhh VW!!!! thank god for sites like these!

No power to radio, windows, or sunroof


best advices would be to check your fuses in the cabin or under the hood.

or

your grounding cable from battery or chassis is either loose or corroded. check your battery terminals and make sure they're clean. i had the exact same problem when relocating my battery from the front of the car to the trunk of the car. my ground cable was loose and the electrical circuit didnt seem to be going through the cycle.
