Question about 2003 Toyota 4Runner

Intermittant problem. Goes and comes. No

Intermittant problem. Goes and comes. No consistency when it occurs, but will go into a cycle where it does this for 1 to 2 weeks and then disappear for 3 months. Problem: When the A/C is turned on, the A/C will run for a while and then the light will begin to flash on the A/C button. Frequently when the issue first appears in a cycle, if the AC is turned off and back on the A/C will run for 10 to 15 minutes and then stop and flash again. Subsequent on and off cycling decreases the operation time between resets until the system will not run at all for a while. The unit is charged and works.
Is there a TSB out there for this problem? A local AC shop has had trouble fixing it.

I have seen a similar problem. It sounds like the evaporator core is icing. Could be a malfunctioning deicing switch or perhaps a blockage in the duct reducing the air flow. Is it possible that leaves/trash have gotten into the ductwork thru the vent under the windshield?

I have a 2003 4Runner and had this same problem about 2 years back. I am not a mechanic, but I took it to Toyota and they replaced the A/C Relay, which costs about $80, and I have not had an issue since. Hey, it's worth a try.

...It could be an icing issue; however, my experience leads me to tell you that the AC compressor revolution sensor is the likely culprit.

Intermittant misfire audi a3 3.2

Alright listen...I believe these undiagnosed issues are because of bad fuel. It could be ethanol or just dirt. My car had performance issues and eventually would stall. It occurred mostly when I was low on fuel and the dirt would then be pulled up into the engine. If you have misfires or the diagnostic suggests injectors or manifold start with removing and cleaning the tank and fuel lines. Then recheck and go from there.

Why is the check light on on my 2002 pontiac sunfire. and when i take the battery cables off the light comes off but then comes back on in a few days

There is a continuing problem occuring. You need to hook up an OB11 meter to the port under the dash to access the info needed to make the necessary repair. Often it is a simple thing like a leaking gas cap i.e. an emmisions code. OB11's are relatively cheap from $50-$300. Bottom end ones will work fine. Good luck!

1990 camry 4cyl 270k miles intermittant rough idle

Sounds like you have an intermittant problem, check all your wirirng, then you can move on to ignition related coil reluctor wheel ( in side the distribitor electronic control module again inside the distribitor. It could also be a fuel system problem do you hear the fuel pump come on when you turn on the key, the fuel pump should cycle until it devlops adequate pressure ( usually 3 - 4 seconds)

Intermittant check engine light

The only way to find out what the problem is is by doing a scan of the car computer module using an OBD code reader.
The codes returned will tell you the cause of the problem.
