Question about 1990 Geo Storm
You can bring it to AutoZone or Advanced Auto Parts or similar auto parts store and they will check the codes for free. Otherwise you'll need to bring it to a mechanic, and they're going to charge you to read the code. They will also know where the port is on your vehicle.
Unfortunately, there's no way to read the codes yourself from home unless you have specialized equipment, which will cost more to acquire than if you just brought it to a mechanic to read.
