Look at your oil dipstick. Does it look watered down and or foamy? If so you have a leaking head gasket.

You may have a bad water pump, a bad coolant transfer tube behind the engine or a leaking head gasket. The foaming may indicate the head gasket. I would take it to a mechanic and get the head gasket integrity checked out.

you will have to check for a coolant leak. check all hoses, gaskets. you could have a water pump leaking which is behind the timing cover.

Coolant low keep leaking leak appears to be above gear box, id put loads a water leading up to it could i of over filled it, it now seems to of stop balfling machanic

you might have leak in heater matrix, or could just be over fill, they have overflow pipes that disperse excess water back down through the engine bay, can sometimes look like you have a leak when in fact you over filled. as a temp measure, you can use a thing called RADWELD... but if it's cleared up and your coolant level is ok.. then.... if it aint broke-don't fix it. do keep an eye on it though. good luck Red.

2003 vectra. Do I fill the radiator with water or coolant . Coolant reservoir keeps emptying .

You can buy a 50/50 mix of coolant and water. Use that. And dont use tap water it can hurt your engine. If your loosing coolant check all your hoses for leaks and your reservoir for leaks.

Loosing coolant, but there is nothing leaking.i am adding coolant every day

it is getting sucked into the engine through a crack or bad gasket.
needs attention ASAP. take a sniff at the tailpipe for antifreeze odor, or look for foam on the bottom of the oil fill cap. ain't good.

Water is leaking out of my coolant is overheating with less than 2 mins of driving

Need to seal the leak in the coolant container with epoxy or by replacing the coolant container.

Fill coolant system with 50/50 solution up to 2 gallons may be required to stop the overheating.

Don't drive an overheated engine.

Heater will not blow hot air while truck is idle. When truck is moving hot air blows. There is some clear redish leakage underneth the truck. How can I fix this problem?

You are low on coolant. Find the leak, the red is most likely the coolant.
Coolant comes in 2 colors red and green.
Your leak is probably either a hole in a hose or a faulty water pump. The water pump has a small hole, usually on the bottom, when the seal goes bad, it will leak there. The only fix is a new water pump.

If it is a hose, just replace it. Make sure when you fill it that you fill the radiator and the overflow, just filling the overflow could cause it to over heat.
Also, depending on your climate, you need to mix your anti-freeze with 30-50% water. If you live in a very cold climate, you want to go with 30%water-70%anti-freeze.
Make sure that you use the right anti-freeze. red with red, green with green. Some green ones are now compatible with the red, if you change the color, make sure it is compatible.

If I'm loosing coolent at a slow rate of time . It's a good sign that my water pump is going out?

The man made coolant referred as Orange Juice by mechcanics does evaporate about one quart every three months. The old yellow colored Anti Freeze does not evaporate unless it leaks out hot
