When you replaced the motor did you replace the resistor and its wiring harness as well? I had to replace all 3 on mine to get them to work this is typical on the Colorado and trailblazers
Why don't you just pull the one head and have it surfaced and check the valves, fix the problem, put on a new gasket and see what happens. It is a lot easier than pulling the motor.
