Buy or build a cigarette lighter plug to jumper cable adapter. It won't jump your car, but you will get enough juice to operate the trunk release.

Plugging into the cigarette lighter works well enough to at lease get the trunk release to work...but there is supposed to be an easier solution according to the owner's manual. There is a key cylinder located behind the driver's seat that you put your main key(not your valet key) into and it will release the trunk lid...but I haven't been able to find it and it is too late to call the dealer...the cigarette lighter thing works well enough for tonight. thanks for the idea...it got me into the trunk to be able to boost the car after a long winter sitting.

Battery dead. Why doesn't key turn door lock or open trunk?

Your keys should still manually unlock/open both...your remote signal will not be picked up as Battery is dead...be sure to check connections for dirt/corrosion/or loose before buying a battery...Hope this helps.

So you have no other option but to jump start the car, by finding power cables in engine bay or pribe open the trunk with a crow bar, or have i towed to a auto shop so a professionel locksmith can open the trunk for you.

2004 Lexus LS 350 keys in trunk battery dead

I would have the dealer cut a new key to get the driver's door open - or use a spare. You can buy a small charger that plugs into the cig lighter.
