I still havent solved the problem. I think its got something to do with the gas. I appreciate you trying to help, but if its going to cost me money I may as well take it in to the dealer. Im just having a problem accepting that theres really something major wrong with the car. With such low mileage & being well cared for I hoped for an easy solution. I guess nothings easy. Thank you.

Translation for B 125 maintenance code

This fooled me for a little while, as I'm not familiar with the car. Actually what you are seeing is a maintainence message that tells you first, that you need to perform a maintainence type A or B.
Then it tells you what maintainence sub items you also need to perform.

So, what you are being told is perform maintainence B and perform sub items 1, 2 and 5

MAINTAINENCE A CHECKLIST:
Replace engine oil

MAINTAINENCE B CHECKLIST:
Replace engine oil and filter
Inspect front & rear brakes
Inspect parking brake & adjustment

At 28,066 dealer oil change. At 28,778 dealer flushed engine to remove sludge build up and changed oil. At 30,835 miles inspection, dealer flushed engine to clean out sludge and changed oil. At 34,630...

First dealer was NOT doing you any justice. Next oil change run a can of GUNK engine flush let idle 5-10 mins then change Oil & Filter and use a good oil like Castrol or Valvoline 10w-30. You won't have "supposed" sludge build up.

Ticking, oil light on and wont go off but has oil

This auto is not getting the oil pressure it needs to run without damaging the motor, usually due to a major problem. More info is needed to recommend a fix. I would suggest returning it for a refund and never buy a car that has a "tick" or clunk noise from the engine unless you intend to perform major repairs on it.

2000 Town and Country stalling & Check oil light coming on

Check the oil level. The low oil sensor will disable the ignition if more than a quart low. If you have not checked your oil in the last 1600 miles, its past time to do so. Check oil often.

After driving for awhile oil light comes on when i stop, goes back off when i give it gas

The engine bearings and oil pump are getting worn. Try 'high-mileage' oil next oil change (be sure to change the filter too). If you have been running 10-30 oil, go to 10-40 which has more viscosity and maintains oil pressure better. The sure fix is a fresh engine, but not cheap. We had a '96 Caravan that had over 300,000 miles and still running well on the original engine when we bought a later model Caravan.

Oil pressure

Could be the oil pump going bad. The oil sensor registers oil pressure, not oil level. If it isn't pumping oil, the light will come on.

My jeep has 172thousand miles on it how long before motor would need replacing?

Them motors as long as you maintain a good maintenance with them they will go for over 250,000 miles .If everything is fine and you do your scheduled oil changes it will last a long time...

My low oil level light comes on

i presume that motor has a few miles on it. possibly the motor is so worn that it can't maintain a decent oil pressure. quick fix is to add heavier oil which hopefully will last for abit. be careful if you are in a cold climate as the thicker oil will make it harder to crank over in the winter.
