1999 GMC Safari. Ruff Idle only when in drive, As soon as I give it a little gas the vibration completely goes away. While in Park or Neutral no vibrations, only in drive, and only at a stop. Could it me my Idle to low?
Define the issue a bit Further. does check engine light flash while stopped? check the basics is there air restriction and when where plugs last changed?
Testimonial: "No check engine light, not sure on the plugs, but everything runs perfect until I get to a stop and everything starts to vibrate and shake. The Reason I think its the Idle, is while everything is vibrating and shaking, if I press the accelerator just a little bit, the vibration stops. Also, when I put it in park while its vibrating, it immediately stops shaking. While in park everything runs fine, if step on the gas in park and let of the gas, the car shakes when the RPM get real low, but stops when it resumes regular Idle."

alright you could try upping the RPM there will be a twist screw on throttle body of engine. only change by 1/8 -1/4 turn as to much will confuse the automatic timing sytem
Can I even though its fuel injection, I read somewhere that you cant adjust the Idle because everything is controlled by the BCM. I will take a look though, thanks
yu just look at throttle body, i have had 3 safaris and 2 astros. 4.3l v6 is best for those vans
Do I do it while in drive? Or in park
