Sounds like a bad blower motor to me. its under the dash on the passengers side. when mine did it i could wiggle the wires and get it to kick on but not stay on. u should just get it replaced. it only cost about 40 bucks after tax and well worth it.

Happened to me several times in Florida, once in Canada. 1999 Chrysler Seabring Convertible Lxi 2.7. Computer locks out ignition for random periods. Took it to a Huge dealership in Florida, paid $350.00 for transmission shaft speed sensor stuff. Fixed it. Fine since. 1 yr. later body control module went (computer). Expensive to fix.$(800.00 just for dealer only part) Air door control, tachometer, and a rear window affected. I'll live with it as the 'failsafe' for loss of AC control is AC is 'Defrost/Floor'. Fan works fine.

YOUR AIR CONDITIONER PUT LOAD ON ENGINE CHECK TO MAKE SURE RADIATOR COOLING FAN RUNNING BECAUSE IT HELPS TO KEEP THE ENGINE COOL AND AC CONDENSOR COOL FAN NEED TO BE RUNNING IF NOT CHECK COOLING FAN FUSE OR RELAY.

Air conditioning is not blowing hot. Tried sealant and two cans of freon.

Well now that you have just randomly added freon to it you are going to need a professional to look at it and get the pressures right again after whatever the real problem is fixed.. The amount of freon in the system is important.. Too much is worse than not enough.

You may want to have your fan clutch checked. If the fan on your water pump does not spin very hard when the vehicle is idleing than it doesn't draw air through the condenser and that air keeps the condenser cooler plus it keeps the pressure down on the high side of the ac system. leave comment.

AC randomly turns off

Your condenser unit maybe dirty. Have it cleaned. If it's clean your thermostat mabe defective. Have it by-passed and observe the performance. If the problem still persist, try by-passing the pressure safety switch. You may want also to check the magnetic clutch of your compressor.

My AC was running fine before winter, now it only blows air.

If the system is working properly and you are only getting warm air, there are 2 common causes.

1.Check the air mix door motor and wiring.

2. There could be a leak in the AC system. No refrigerant means no air conditioning.
