Car cuts off going down the road

I have a 95 Pontiac Bonneville and when driving down the road warning bells will sound and engine will cut off. If the engine is turning enough rpm, the engine wil pick back up and go on. The radio and other accs. stay on, and has never failed to start back up. The scan tool only has one code in it and it is passkey related

I would take a look at the throttle position sensor being faulty, but I can't explain why there is the only one fault code. Hope this helps. Good luck.

Try an ignition coil, they can work ok till they get hot, then nothing. Also check to see if the theft light is on when it won't start. I know this May sound strange, but does it have tilt wheel and do you use it?

Mazda Tribute 2002 engine cuts out randomly

I had a Mazda 626 with a similar problem, the car seemed to 'shut down' with no warning, even at highway speeds, as if I just turned the ignition key to 'Off'; After trying to fix it unsuccessfully by replacing several electrical parts, the problem was found to be a defective ignition switch, it was replaced and the problem went away.
