P0172 is a running rich code. The popping could be that one of your oxygen sensrs has popped out of the exhaust. The nuts that hold the o'2 on rust away. Worth a look.

When i floor my 01 navigator it wont go it makes a popping sound in the throttle body

sounds like the cats are plugged up....remove the o2 sensors and see if it runs better. Mine would idle, but would pop and stumble when the gas was hit. Ran well for a long time but would stumble whwn floored, slowly got so bad couldnt drive it but it idled fine. Pulled the o2 sensors and started it up and all kinds of debris, junk, blew out. Replaced cats and o2 sensors and runs great. cost $2000.00 in parts. If you find that this is your problem, then check to see if the cats came apart and blew chunks into the muffler,,,,can cause a restriction and cook the new cats. Took me a lot of time to get this truck running right, but it sounds like youre dealing with the same issues..I went through the coil packs and chased engine codes for a week. Pull the o2 sensors and see what blows out; and if engine runs better.....hope this helps (spend some time pricing o2 sensors and y pipe with cars...you can save some $. good luck!

2003 Chrysler Town & Country has an intermittent rattle when in gear (drive, maybe reverse too) at an idle. Loose flex plate bolt(s)?

loose flexplate bolts would make noise all the time, wat u got sounds like a rattling catalytic convertor, meaning a worn out cat or cats. u can get under neath an hit on the exhaust pipe near the cats with engine off an hear the rattle ur talkin about. have u noticed a slight lack in power or performance ? another telltale sign of bad convertors. a local exhaust shop can raise car on lift an chek cats, inexpensive chek, expensive repair. good luck

Blew egr valve after loss of power. gained power after it blew apart. thinking of blocking inlet pipe to see if lose power again. thinking bad cats=too much back pressure?

You may be on the right track, I've never heard of an EGR valve blowing apart and I've been doing this along time, but I suppose a plugged cat could cause it. Try blocking the pipe, if power goes down, you could be right. Do you, or did you have any codes prior to the valve blowing? A bad cat will usually set a p0420 code. How many miles on it?

Truck wont start

I think you are on the right track. I would take the relays to Autozone or another parts store and see if they could determine which if any was bad. If you can find a relay that is the same size, amperage, and has the terminals in the same spots - you could swap them and see if the fuel pump works then.
If the relays don't solve the problem - you could have a loose wire in the fuse box which could require a little bypassing of circuitry or even a new section of wiring harness. Lets hope not. Good luck.

My explorer makes a clicking/crunching sound in the front pass. side when i turn my wheel to the right.

possibly both front outer CV joints need replacing on drive shafts
usually clicking when turning right, mainly on take off means right CV outer end of drive shaft is shot.
have wheel bearings been inspected for wear?
jack up wheel
grab top and bottom of wheel and flex(shimmy) back and forth to feel if loose.

Acces to bmw 316ise x regd boot

it sounds like you can get into the front of the vehicle. you can back feed power through the cigarette lighter in the vehicle. Also you can pop the hood and connect jumper wires to the jump start points underneath the hood. You could also apply power to the fuse box and ground to chassis. the easiest would be using the cigarette lighter (just don't turn on the vehicle to the point where there are a lot of loads going through the cigarette lighter or you'll pop the fuse)
