Question about 2006 Saab 9-7X
Replacing the battery should not affect the key programming. The only way to program the key to your car is with the Saab Tech 2 computer. This can be done at a Saab dealer or at many independent Saab repair shops. It shouldn't cost much, it can be done in 15 minutes or less.

You may have to take the car to the dealer to have them reprogram your TWICE unit using the TECH 2 to recognize the key. They will charge for that.
