The motor is turning over but not firing up. I removed a spark plug wire to see if it was getting spark, nothing. I then replaced the wire n removed the wire running to the coil, then i got sparks. I...


sounds like your rotor is bad, it does happen, and that would explain no spark to ignition wires to the plugs-look inside the distributor cap too, and replace it if you see moisture, hairline cracks, or the terminals are badly oxidized.

I have a 2005 Kia Armanti, im trying to replace my spark plugs, I can see 3 of them. the other 3 I have no clue, can you please help me??


If it is the 3.5 motor, see my "Tip" on replacing the plugs on a Kia Sedona. That tip is for the 3.5 liter motor.

Replaced the spark plugs, and swapped out boots from parts motor. im getting alot of crank it wants to turn over, but jus wont start, what can i do?


if you installed a different motor take it to a dealer to get the cars computer reprogrammed. If you didn't the boots could be bad.

i had the same problem just a little bit ago with my 91 mustang lx 2.3L. b. If you are not getting and sparks from your coil packs then im going to guess this is where the problem is. start by replacing all spark plugs and wires. if this does not work it most likely the coil packs ,But if there is spark then its your timing belt.
