Hi, I have a rodeo 3ltr diesel manual. it suddenly cuts out while driving, somtimes restarting.Stop for a second and restarts ok,then happens again.Engine light comes. Thanks Rob

Can I close all the doors while driving - Mitsubishi space star eqippe 2004? Just got a used one and cant seem to find the one button that can lock all doors when I'm in the car.

biggest cause of loss of power on this model is the accelerator pedal module ,what happens is the car runs ok then just loses power stop and turn it off then restart and it runs ok again for a while ,time between slow downs can vary depending driving conditions.

Just to start with the basics make sure their is fuel in it ... somtimes when these trucks run out of fuel you have to add more then 5 gallons to get the fuel high enough to run over the internal cup that the fuel pick up tube sets in 1 or 2 gallons is not enough to do this . Then have some one try starting the truck while you remove the fuel cap and put your ear to the fill tube for the gasoline you should be able to hear the fuel pump run because it is located inside the fuel tank . If you don't hear the pump running you can try hitting the bottom center of the fuel tank with a heavey blunt object ( block of wood ,Baseball bat ect.) nothing that has a sharp edge . Do this while some one is cranking ( turning the key to start the truck) this somtimes will free the pump up and it will start working again . If it starts then you know the pump is bad . Somtimes when the pump frees up they work again for weeks or months but it not good to take that chance and break down on the highway. Replace the pump and filter .

may be but bleed the air out of the fuel lines first

is this happen in first gear or second ( 20 or 35 mph)?

-this may because of the seizure of the engine. the piston may got seized with the liner. this happens because the engine oil is not sufficient to lubricate the moving parts. try to service the engine that is the only way for getting back the engine and keep a good track of yout engine oil

water is getting inside the switch boot on the transmission
when it dries , light goes out

governor is sticking.

find the two wires going to the immobiliser keep them apart cover with tin foil still apart cover with some insulation tap
