Question about 2002 Chevrolet Silverado 1500
There are two types. The Control solenoid and, the Kick down solenoid.
If your issues consist of miss shifts and, slippage, replace the control solenoid. If the issue concern downshifting during acceleration, replace the Kick down solenoid.
The kick down will run directly into the valve body.
The control solenoid is the main principal shifter.
