Check for spark
to the spark plugs during the no start period. If you do not have spark
the crank sensor in the distributor is a common failure in these.
New Electronic Distributor comes with Red and Blue wires. Ensure that you first turn the crank pulley to align with 0 degree. Remove old distributor and insert the new electronic distributor to the same hole ensuring that the the roter points towards number one plug. Follow the firing order to insert high tension leads. Connect two wires from the electronic distributor to the coil, ensuring that the Red is wired to the + and Blue to the - . The + coil must also have the + wire from the ignition switch. Connect the middle coil lead to the middle point of the distributor cap. Lastly, you are ready to start the engine and allow it to warm up.
