Check the lower radiator hose to see if it has gone "soft" Check when the engine is cool and stopped, grasping the hose and giving it a squeeze, you should feel the presence of a "spring" in the hose. That should be there to prevent the hose from collapsing as the water pump draws coolant through it. Without the spring, the draw created by the pump intake, and the resulting venturi effect will collapse the hose, cutting off the flow.

Try an alternate ground. If not there is most likely a loose connection inside the radio itself.

Yes, that rod isn't bad to do, You'll need a ball-joint removal fork for the ball-joint. But after that removing the bolt, releasing the other end is a piece of cake. You will want a friend around for installing the new one. he or she will turn the steering wheel so you can insert the new ball-joint into the frame.
SOURCE: Headlights don't work.
There is a circuit breaker inside the headlight switch body. It gets weak over time and use. The breaker is actually mentioned in the owners manual. A new switch is about $75.00 at the local parts store. You must remove the front of the dash to change the switch. Mine would go off and then in about 30 seconds reset and the lights would come back on. I would be driving down the road with my headlights flashing as the circuit breaker opened and closed. New switch = problem fixed.
