I have a 2002 Toyota Camry and while driving AC is pretty cold & comfortable, but not as cold as I think it should be. Alone in the car, low-med setting, others in the car, riding on high just to keep it cool. 2nd issue is when I stop for long periods of time or the car is not moving (slow traffic, light, drive thru, etc) the fan continues to blow but the air turns pretty hot. I've heard different things and dont' want to get done by a mechanic. Went to car wash, kept car running, and sprayed fans, grill, etc. What else should I check before I spend a lot of money. Otherwise, car is in excellent running condition.

2003 Lexus ES 300 the A/C light flashes and no cooling

The flashing light tells you there is a problem in the system.
A mechanic would check to see if the system is charged with freon then check the electrical circuit for the compressor.

Flashing light on my a/c panel button and not blowing cool/cold air

Hi Clayton,
The flashing light shows a defect with the AC unit. A scan should identify which part is defective and can be replaced. The most likely fault will be one of the relays houses in the AC relay box under the bonnet.

The light on the a/c button flashes on and off when activated but the a/c does not turn on. I've checked the freon level but that is not the problem. What is the repair needed here?

The control panel that has your switches that range from 1-5, the option to turn from cool to hot air and your A/C light; is faulty. I'm not mechanic by trade, but I bought a Haynes book for both of my vehicles and I do all the mechanic work myself.

How i reset the service engine light on a 2004 range rover?

There are hidden cheats (just like a video game)
this is cool try it out.
1. ignition off
2.Press and hold trip meter button(left black button) down and turn igniton kry to first position. Keep the button pressed about 5 seconds until the words Oil Service or Inspection reset appears on LCD display.
3. Release the button then press and hold till reset begins to flash
while the display is flashing let go then press again.
the display will read END SIA and your all done.

In practice you have to make the inputs quickly, do not delay as you will have to start over

Flashing lights

Hi, had the same problem today. Solution: Start engine, blower on max, air direction to cabin, press rear wiper and rear wash buttons simulanteously for 5 seconds (all lights now on steady). Calibration test starts and lights flsh alternately. After first test, AC and recurculation lights flash for the cool down test. If all test pass then rear wiper light blinks slowly (press to exit self test). If AC and recurculation test fails then just 2 lights stay on. To repeat this part of the test press just AC and rear wash simulanteously ( may take several attempts and usually best when engine is cold). Again exit by pressing the rear wiper button once it is the only one flashing (slow blink).

This does work but it took me 15 minutes to finally switch them off!!!
