Question about 2006 Mercedes-Benz R-Class
Service is determained by KM or MILES, Maintenance letters from A - H is to tell the driver time needed for maintenance and not what is needed.
What is needed is by milage of car.
A - H service code tells you the time needed to perform the maintenance which is A=1 hour up to H = 8 Hours.
In your case D = 3 Hours needed to do the work.
If you send me the milage I could tell you what is needed to be done from checking and what needs to be replaced as per the factory
Hope this clears things for you
