Check connections and wiring -make sure battery is fully charged ,new doesnt mean free from defects -also check draw from starter if it is pulling to many amps or solenoid going bad can cause slow turn over

2001 dodge grand caravan spin wont start

Car not starting or turning over indicates towards multiple possibilities. It can be issue with battery or weak battery. But if battery checks out ok, then it can be starter issue or faulty alternator or problem with low fuel pressure or no spark at spark plugs due to dirty spark plugs or faulty ignition coil or injectors getting cracked or dirty and needs to be cleaned.

I just purchased a new battery and when I started the car and put it in drive it cuts off, when i try to restart it, it drags but evenually start. What can be the problem?

Check your Alternator connection plugs, some of these FORDS like my 1990 F250 for instance used a very light connector which corrodes BADLY and can cause the 1990 FORDS to have an engine fire if it comes under winter charging loads through the bad contact. Most auto parts stores carry a factory upgrade connector for about 7 bucks. A lot of people buy a whole new alternator while they only need clean contacts on the control (REGULATOR) plug-in on top of the Alternator to make the whole system come up to high volts and start three times as good because the computer and battery are now able to control and charge from the Alternator.

2001 Dodge Grand Caravan battery light is on. Battery and alternator have been checked and are ok. What could be wrong?

The alternator has a bad diode in the diode bridge in the alternator, this turns the light on,even though the alternator checks good, and is charging correctly, there is a bad diode, this diode ,along with others, changes ac voltage to dc voltage,if not replaced,it will start causing components to go out.

Why does my dodge grand garavan make loud noise

could be a problem with your flywheel or if the starter was just replaced and you started hearing the noise then it could have to be shimmed out from the flywheel. Could be a starter issue.

2001 Grand am Se battery light keeps coming on - replaced battery yesterday and had alternator checked - was told amp on alternator was fine?

Who told you the alternator is O.K.? How much voltage is it producing? Take a volt meter , start car & make sure the alternator is charging properly. Attach meter to the posts & see what it reads. All readings over 13.2 to 14.5 O.k. less means new alternator. Also make sure battery cable connections are clean & tight.
