Well, you can easily get to the front three plugs. However, the rear three are under the intake manifold. You will have to remove it change the rear plugs. It's not too hard, just time consuming.

SOURCE: 1995 Chrysler Cirrus LXI 2.5l,O2 censor #2 comm fail

The #2 O2 sensor should be found "down stream" from the catalytic converter. When you crawl under the vehicle, follow the exhaust pipe from the engine to the catalytic converter. Right before the converter, you'll see one of the oxygen sensors. (That's number 1.) When you follow just past the catalytic converter, you'll see another one. (That's number 2, the one you're looking for.)

The role of the #2 O2 sensor is to make sure not only that the #1 sensor is actually doing its job of maintaining a 14.7:1 air/fuel ratio governed by the computer, but it's also making sure that the catalytic converter is not only present, but also that it's doing its job as well.

This isn't a very expensive part, it's easy to find, and will require an O2 sensor socket to do the job. Make sure you don't use any grease on the new sensor! It can actually render it unusable and cause your check engine light to come on again.

That reminds me...When you change out your #2 O2 sensor, in order to turn off the Check Engine light, you'll need to take it somewhere such as an auto parts store like Advance Auto Parts, who have a scanner to connect to your car's computer and clear the fault code. Otherwise, your computer will have to count a certain amount of ignition cycles before it determines that all is well with your emissions system.

Good luck, have fun, and I hope this helps! :)

SOURCE: where is thermostat in a 1995 chrysler cirrus LX

A tee is located to the right hand side of the intake manifold, on top you should see the coolant system cap, its silver in color and is about 2-3 inches in diameter. This tee is the thermostat housing, it goes to your radiator and engine block, remove it from the block and you should see the thermostat. Remember when replacing the thermostat, the spring side goes into the block! 2.0L and 2.4L it is under where the upper rad hose hooks to the engine. 2.5L it is under where the lower rad hose hooks to the engine.

Engine stop after two minute ,code 54 cirrus dodge 1995 2.5l

Code 54**.............. No camshaft position sensor signal from distributor. Problem with the distributor synchronization circuit.,

most likely a broken wire or defective camshaft position sensor, have it checked and replaced/fixed if defective

it basically does not know when to send the spark to the cylinder, so it shuts the engine down to protect itself

Chrysler cirrus 2.5 v 6 no fire

I've heard it's an issue with the distributor. Moisture, washing your engine gets through the vents in the distributor causing no spark. The ignition coil/module is built into the distributor housing. This means the distributor would have to be replaced. People also have tried using WD-40, I don't recommend, due to it only being a temporary fix and the petroleum in the WD allows build up to occur. BAD distributor design!!!!
