You would need to locate the alarm brain box, track down each wire and disconnect while making sure that all of the factory wires remain intact and insulated. If you are not familiar with the workings of an alarm system and vehicle wiring this may not be a diy type job. Any car audio shop should be able to do it for about an hours labor. You might be able to just unplug the brain depending in the vehicle it may not cause any issues. Just be sure to tape up the connector to prevent accidental shorts.

How do you stop the alarm if the battery is dead.

The battery cannot be dead if the alarm is going off. however it might be to low to start the car and cause this situation. I would use the alarm remote to reset the alarm or un-hook the ground cable on the battery. Or charge the battery.

Sometimes the alarm box is under the dash on the drivers side. Did you try using the key to lock and unlock the driver side door? Some vehicles this will deactivate the alarm.

the easiest way will be to take it 2 a subaru dealer or an auto electriction and get them 2 remove the alarm..but you could dissconnect and un bolt the external alarm siren..

Alarm goes off on jeep grand cherokee lorado

under the ecu on the right hand side inner wing ,near the fuse box is the siren,un plug and remove the ecu then un plug the siren remove it by any means I had to pry mine off it has its own battery pack inside,I binned mine cos it doesn't affect the running of the Jeep hope you got sorted
