Over a period of time my 94 park ave (which comes with a securty system) would not start after shutting it off. After several attempts it would eventually start. One day it happened and it would not start at all. It is not the battery. I had to have it towed to a mechanic who tried several rebuilt computers using the prom from the computer in my car. It would not start. He put the old computer back in the car and he got it running but doesn't know why. When the battery was disconnected (the car not running) we were back to not being able to start again. I had it towed to another mechanic and he played with it and got it to where it would start but when the battery was disconnected (the car not running) it would not start. Both mechanics used diagnostic equipment to check my car. They suspect a computer problem but cannot isolate the problem. I don't know what to do now.

I would say its more of an ignition module or crank sensor issue. Both can be intermittant. This is the type of problem you may have to let it get worse or just put parts on it. One at a time. I'm assuming they determined this is not a security issue, Correct ??

It seems like the power steering is out on my 94 park ave supercharged, the car is rattling through turns, and the wheel is very stiff. also the batterly light has come on. Any answers as to what to do?

Hi,
Because the battery light came on at the same time the steering started acting up one would look at the belts.
Make sure they are tight and DRY.

Where is the tdm located on a 94 3.8 park ave?

change the temp sensor on the thermostat housing, i had a problem like that on one once it fixed the problem right up.
