first check the timing belt because it may be broke.Another solution could be a clogged catalytic converter.It really sounds like a timing belt.Remove inspection cover for the timing belt and have someone turn over the motor and see if your camshaft is turning.

take the hose off of the outgoing side off the fuel pump, is there gas coming out when you turn it over? tried testing the fuel pressure? a 10 $$ junkyard pump solved my fuel woes.
