I had the same problem, engine wont crank, abs, brake, and check engine light came on, spent 2 mounths trying to figure out what the problem was, turned out to be a red wire coming out of the bottom of the fuse block wasn't getting any power, put an inline 30 amp fuse ,and hooded it to the positive side of the fuse block, and it works great now , the fuse block had a bad lead after the fuse, so it looked like the fuse was good but wasn't getting any power to the wire , I hoped this helps somebody, jestudley@aol.com

I would check the battery power and ground.
Then check all the wiring connections on the starter .
Then check the ignition switch to see if the power to it.
Also always check all the fuses and relays.

Sounds more like your battery. check and clean the cables and post( the part that your cables are hooked to.). you can buy a battery post and terminal cleaner at any automotive store for a couple of bucks. You can clean them without this device, just use a pocket knife to scrape the post and inside the terminal that goes on the post. Make sure that you put the terminals back on the post tight.Jump your car off and let it charge for a little while.
You can check your fuel pressure. Check the timing, maybe even your crankshaft and or camshaft sensor. Maybe weak fuel pump

2004 impala cranks but wont start. Has spark

Check for proper pressure at the fuel rail. If the pressure is low, begin by replacing the fuel filter, and proceed to check the fuel pressure regulator, the fuel pump, the fuel pickup strainer, and check for signs of contaminated fuel.

2002 impala intermitenly wont start

I would clean the battery connecters or possibly change them. How old is the battery? sometimes when battery get old, they have enough juice to crank the motor but not enough to start it..But then again, if it doesn't crank at all sometimes, it could certainly be a bad or loose battery terminals..Start with this since its the simplest and easiest and could very well be your problem. hope this helps
