Just go to the autoparts store to get the parts. Make sure you have the make/model of the car, the engine size, and whether it has a/c or not. They will look them up on the computer and get the parts for your specific vehicle. If you register your vehicle at autozone.com, you will have access to a free full onlline repair manual for your vehicle. It's free and handy! Hope this helped.

Mazda MPV 2.6 1989 good ecm, good injectors (but no voltage), good spark, good fuel pressure, engine cranking, but won't start. If I put a little bit of gas on the air intake it will start. there's no...

You probably have a bad ecm. These engines used the same ecm that the injected b2200 used and they had a lot of problems with capacitors that leaked and damaged the etching on the ecm's circuit board. If you do indeed have 12V on one side of the injectors and no pulsing ground from the ecm, then the problem either in the ecm or the wiring between the ecm and the injectors. When you say good ecm, have you tried a known good one?
If you're really good at desoldering and repairing pc boards, you can fix it yourself, all you'll need is a 47uF capacitor. Or you can send it out.

Mazda MPV 1989 has good spark, good gas pressure but won't start. I disconnected one of the injectors and I tested for pulse but there's none. while driving, the van started feeling like loosing power. in...

YOUR BEST BET IS TO GO AHEAD AND REPLACE YOUR FUEL INJECTORS. BY POURING GAS IN TO YOUR INTAKE. YOU KNOW ITS GOT TO DO WITH YOUR FUEL SYSTEM. I TAKE IT YOUR CHECKING FURL PRESURE ON THE CHECK VALVE ON THE FUEL RAIL FOR THE INJECTORS. REPLCE THOSE AND YOU SHOULD BE GOOD. JAKE.B

Number 1 spark plug for 2000 Mazda MPV

The cylinder order is 1,2,3 (rear row, left-to-right) and then 4,5,6 (front row, left-to-right).
When replacing spark plug wires or plugs, it's very helpful to do one at a time to avoid connecting them incorrectly.
Hope this helps, Sherwin

My Mazda 2004 MPV ES starts pulling at times drasticly.

Ignition coils is the most common failure parts for MPV. There are 6 of them in your engine. Now probably few of them are bad again. I don't certain think the # 1, 2, 3 are bad since the recent replaced ones also could be bad to.
If you buy individual one will cost you around $57 each. http://sd.autohausaz.com/autohausaz/detailw.jsp?sid=nesyyx55nrrgf5bhpv0yzoi4&partner=autohausaz&year=2004&make=80&model=18094~~~10000091~~~@MPV&category=240798@Engine%20Electrical&part=240858@Ignition%20Coil
If you buy all of 6 will save your money. I'm not a seller. I found this information to help you to control the cost. Otherwise the bill will be costing a lot. This is why we are coming to Fixya, right?

Have the mechanic replace all of 6 after you got the part and ask him to weed out the bad ones then keep the good one for later use. Good luck.
