Radio stays on

I have a bmw x5 2003 and the radio stays on even when you shut the car off and take the key out. I would pull the fuse but I don't know which one to take out the one it was supposed to be it wasn't.

Hi, I have a 2006 650i The display unit intermittenly goes blank shutting off the radio etc just leaving the BMW logo showing, then after about 10 minuets returns to normal

Short to power. Could be as easy as just pulling a fuse and reinsert it. Sometimes you have to access the plug and do they same thing. Sometimes you have to fix or replace the plug. If your display is the radio, It could be internal radio problems..

My Honda accord will only shut off when I unplug the backup radio fuse

Sounds like you have a bad ignition switch, is your key coming out and the car is only shutting off when you pull that fuse?
The radio has a vin chip that the computer reads for the theft module system. When you turn your key off does the dash lights and a lot of items turn off or does everything stay on? Call the dealer too and ask for recalls and tell them your situation, especially if your car is new or a few years old.

ACC wire to radio powered even with key off

This could be normal. You will need a constant power source at the radio to maintain clock and station memory

My 2006 toyota sienna DVD player won't shut off

Engine room Junction Box - on left side of Engine Compartment (Drivers side in USA) - Fuse RAD 1 (20A), Fuse RAD 3 (30A) - there is another fuse that goes to your ECU, it works with the radio, but you won't need to pull it. In case you do - it is Fuse ECU-B (10A)

2003 BMW 325i - pressed Hazaed light button and now they wont shut off. Even disconnected the battery and they still flash. How do I reset?

hi, you have two options. you can disconnect the negtaive lead on the battery and then hold down the brake pedal for 3-5 seconds. this will reset the ecu and and stop the problem..

or if you open the hood and look in the engine compartment on the left hand side you will see a small retangular fuse box. if you open up your bmw owners manual it will list each fuse and its circuit. take the small green clips and pull the fuse marked exterior auxiliary lights.

this will keeep you from ahving to reset your radio code and having to re-teach the ecu your driving habits etc.

Radio stays on.

It would be best to pull the radio fuse leaving it out for several minutes then replace it. tis may well fix the problem but if it doesn't you can remove the fuse agin knowing it will not drain the battery over night

2007 ford freestyle radio will not shut off; which fuse can I pul

This kmay be caused by a door ajar switch, the car has delayed exit, in other words when it senses the door has been opened it shuts down all the electronics, it is this way so you can listen to the radio with the key off after you park but don't exit the car.

The fuse number to pull is: #13, it is brown in color. and is a 7.5 Amp
