Question about 1999 Saab 9-5
Hi, my 95 has been a perect car in all respects over the last 6 years & has a ful Saab sevice history with no expense spared but recentley has devoleped a starting problem!
From cold she starts first time every time no problem but when hot or after a bootfull she refuses point blank to fire up! All lights on dash present & correct & will turn over & over untill the battery gives up but not one kick as if she wants to start, just as if she had an imobiliser fitted or like we did in the old days to stop our Cortina or Escort being stolen taken the coil lead off or removed the lead to the dizzy. My wife has had to come rescue me then take me back to the car an hour later when blow me she starts first time! Help! Wife not always availabe to come get me & I am getting a little fed up with this problem. cheers, Steve
IF THE CAR SPINS OVER THEN THE PROBLEM IS THE CRANKSENSOR IF U TURN THE CAR OVER AND IT DONT DO ANYTHING THEN THE PROBLEM IS THE NEUTRAL SAFETY SWITCH LOCATED ONTOP OF THE TRANS.
