Question about 2001 Ford Expedition
Vehicle engine surges between 600 and 900 rpms with a/c on, and in gear when stopped.Misses/sputters when I acel from a stop. Does not do it with a/c off?
Have the compressor checked,or the a/c fan is bad and there is unwanted signals being backfed in the 12v and getting into the ecu ,sometimes a bad alternator will do that and cause misfires fooling alot of techs.have the alternator output scanned with a scope.the 14.4 vdc should not have more than a few millivolts of noise.
