Stalls and won't idle

This is a very common problem with pretty much any Chrysler product and 95% of the time it is usually 2 things. First thing to do is of course clean the throttle body and the IAC motor (Idle Air Control) motor. Second thing is a little strange but is most is the time the problem. When working for Chrysler Dodge Jeep for many years I saw the problem on almost a weekly basis and it will seem kinda crazy but it does work. You need to have your battery checked and most likely replaced. That's because there may be a dead cell in it that is causing the ECM and PCM to lose it's memory settings. Which causes the jeep to crank like normal but not idle and go dead. The battery will seem plenty powerful enough but this is normally the fix. Hope it helps. Thanks

I have a 2004 Jeep GC 6cyl 4WD. My check engine light is on, scanned and got P0203, P0300, P303. Changed the spark plugs, fuel injector #3. Started it up and ran rough, I left it in the garage all night...

codem p 0203 refers to injector 3---circuit malfunction===causes wiring--injector--ECM
chweck for harness connection , bad wire for no 3 injector or corroded pins for no 3 injector in the connection

Where is the A/C drip pan located on a 1995 Grand Jeep Cherokee

I have a 95 jeep GC too. From what I've read and seen in my jeep there isn't one. the water pools under the back seat where the jack is located. I've had an inch of water in there and there's no drainage at all.

My grand cherokee stalls when shifted in reverse. It dies immediately. this is an intermittent problem. I was told it was a solenoid in the trans controlled by the transmission ecm.

I had a similar problem with my gc 4.0. It would stall when shifting from reverse to drive but not all the time. Also erratic gear changing up and down and slipping. I took it to a garage and had the transmission filter and fluid changed (but it may be something some people can do there self if mechanically minded) And this cured the problem and have alot smoother gears. I did use the Jeep ATF +4 which was recommended not dex 2 so fingers crossed i dont have any more problems.

The jeep dies while driving it, then won't start. if it sets for awhile, it will start back up and run as if nothing happened.

I had the same problems with my 95 Jeep GC Ltd. I had the crank shaft position sensor replaced (just under $300) and now it runs fine.

Will 95 jeep gc rearend work in 97?

As long as they are the same rearend and the same gears, yes. ie a 9.25 rear with 3.92 gears will not work where a Dana 44 with 3.55 gears was.

Weak Spark to coil

My dad had a 93 GC and he had to replace somekind of crankshaft sensor then it was fine ever since. I guess those inline 6's are known for that.
