The fob should not need reprogramming. Changing the battery in it will not affect how the fob works. Even changing the vehicle battery won't have any effect on it. Fobs are Not normally reprogrammable, they usually need replacing instead.

When you say your charger want start, does the dash light up when you turn the key to the start position but nothing happens? OR Does the engine turn over but it just want start and run? Please answer these 2 questions so I can better help you. Thanks!
this would be the antitheft light. put the key in the ingnition turn it to the on position ( not the start position ) and leave it there for about 15 min. then start the car. if this does not work you must take it to the dealer.
