The temperature blend door actuator is located on the right side of the transmission hump under the evap. case. The floor ducts cover it.

SOURCE: how to replace blend door actuator in a ford

I recently did mine, I hear you can do it without taking the entire dash apart but I had no luck with it myself. I have to get ready for work but, on mine it was located down and to the left of the radio. its a white box...are you hearing a clicking noise or something? I had to roll the entire dash back and it was still a major pain getting it out.

I have a 2009 Kia Sedona that blows heat on the drivers side only. What would I look for to be the problem

If you have dual range heating system (separate for driver and passenger), you have two blend doors. If you're only getting heat on the driver's side, the passenger blend door actuator is not working. It's possible this can be serviced without having to remove the entire HVAC box, but you would have to check for sure in a service manual, or a Haynes of Chilton repair manual.

On most vehicles located on the passenger side near the center in the duct work behind the dash. May be accessible from under the dash or after removing the glove box for left hand drive vehicles.

We own a 2005 Kia Sedona that has worked well for a long time. However, recently the heating has stopped working and blows cold air.

Yes the fix is to remove the dash from the car and replace the blend door and the blend door actuator.

My 2005 Kia Sedona heater is blowing cold air even when temperature knob is turned to hot. Friend of family looked at it and said it was the "blend door actory wayer" -- but he was not sure how to...

yes, actuator--black box with motor and gears inside that rotates the blend door. I think yours is right on the front of the heater box, to the right of center under dash. Remove actuator and check door for proper operation. If it opens and closes smoothly by hand, replace the actuator. If the door is sticking, you will probably have to take the heater box out of the car, split it open, and repair whatever is keeping it from opening.
