You have to have a poor connection in the wiring in the at the battery , Re check all the connections by the battery. You had to have hit something or not tighten the wiring down .
There is a ground problem somewhere.

2002 grand cherokee, overland 4,7L engine doesnt

Hi Joko,

What you are describing is a failure of a main circuit. The first thing you should check is yo make sure that your battery is in good condition and that the cables are clean and tight. Let me know if yu find anything wrong there. Then there may be another main circuit problem. Check all of the fuses in your fuse block in the engine compartment. If any of these fuses are blown, it will usually cause several things to not work. If you find any fuses blown, DON'T REPLACE IT YET. Let me know WHICH fuse is blown and I can help you find out why it blew so you can get the problem fixed.

Get back to me on this and we will continue.

04 grand cherokee limited. Started at home fine. Got to gas station and filled up, went to re-start and it clicked once with no restart. Power is fine(lights, radio, power windows, horn) everything works....

You might want to check the starter if you can try tapping it hard with something then try to start it again if it starts then all you need to do is have it changed out if nothing happens then you might also want to check and see if there is a broken fuse link going to the starter I know some vehicles have a fusible link in line with the starter it acts as a fuse but looks like a wire it will burn in half interrupting the voltage to the starter and like you stated everything else will work lights radio horn but the starter will not turn over hope this helps you.

2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee battery will drain

Ditto here on a 2005 jeep. We bought it new and found the battery dead on a few mornings the first year. Nothing left on. Did the new alternator thing about 2 yrs. ago and a few batteries along the way. This is what we noticed..... If you leave a CD in the CD player, that is the prime little devil that sucks out the juice. Now, we never turn off the car while a CD is in the dash. Now, maybe not necessary every time, but always overnight and now by habit, all the time, we make sure there is no CD inserted when the car is off. Hope this helps.

does the car start? if it doesnt...then your battery is dead. see if it"ll jump start at least for awhile, if it does and dies again...your alternator could be bad and not charging the battery.

Dash and shifter lights in 1996 jeep cherokee wont light

Hello and welcome to FixYa . Locate the dial that controls the brightness of the dashboardlights. If the control is not immediately evident. Make sure the brightness control is turned on. If it is and the lights aren't working, the problem may be a bad fuse. Check the fuse that controls the dashboard lights Replace the fuse if necessary. If just one part of the instrument panel is not lighting up, then you have either a burned-out bulb or a wiring problem.
