I just had a similar problem - turned out to be the valve cover gasket was leaking oil onto the distributer - I cleaned the distributer and it is running now, but i'm about to change the gasket (today) so it won't happen again.

Hi,
Did the issues just start or only after some kind of car service?

I read where you checked the coil(s) but that's still what it sounds like.

I'd get a used coil(s) from a Wrecking/Salvage yard and try those - usually can be returned, whereas the dealer won't take 'em back.
