Let a fan blow in the engine compartment for a long while. More importantly, the ignition wiring and plugs need to be dried out. Trace spark plug wires back to their source.Use WD 40 or a wire dry spray (auto parts store). Unplug spark plug wires and spray. Unplug ignition module wires and spray. Unplug all electrical plugs and spray. Also use a air dryer to remove moisture, and to dry out wires.

My 2003 Saturn Ion driverside floor board stay soaking wet

Hi Linda , you mite have a windshield leak ! You could possibly look under the dash an see if there is a water stain coming down the metal body inside ! If it were the passenger side I'd say you had a heater core leak .You don't have any unusual odors do you ? Like anti freeze ? Or does the windshield fog up when on defroster ?

Doors fill with water when it rains

There must be holes at the bottom that are clogged with very fine clay that go wet and became mud. Remove panels and clean thoroughly. If the holes are too small drill bigger ones at the lowest point under doors and yo uwill be fine.

My 300 got stuck in the snow. After much spinning and gear changing my check engine light, abs light, and esp light are all staying on.

More than likely you caked up a wheel speed sensor (or several of them) with snow, ice, mud, etc. An improper or no reading at even one wheel can cause all of these symptoms at once.

You could wash the vehicle well then put it in a heated garage and see if that helps.

Otherwise some disassembly and cleaning may be needed or you could have a wet, shorted or bad sensor harness. A dealer can connect a diagnostic device which will indicate which wheel(s) are not sending a proper signal.

Best wishes.

If you have a wet seat then it is likely defective weather stripping around the window.

Try this. If the floor is dry, then it rains and the floor remains dry, only gets wet after a drive in the rain or on wet streets, you may have a hole somewhere.

Check for holes from missing rubber grommets or holes in the floorboard or firewall from rust. Check for any rust holes or missing rubber grommets under the car or on the firewall, anywhere water can splash up into the vehicle from driving in rain or running through puddles..

Check wet spots along the carpeting all the way up under the dash, if the wet spot is higher than the floor itself, you could be getting the water from splashing through puddles.

Any holes under the car or in the fenderwell even up on the firewall can cause this problem.

First check for any obvious signs of rust, if none are found then look for missing or defective rubber grommets.

-- open the driver's door
-- locate where the air conditioner blower box is attached to the passenger side of the firewall - see photo #1 - look to the immediate right at the top of the gas pedal arm
-- condensation flows toward the front of the vehicle through the firewall at the leftmost edge of the air conditioner blower box - drain channel
-- open the hood and stand next to the front wheel on the driver's side
-- look down at the firewall over the battery and to the passenger side of the brake master cylinder - see photo #2
