I need make and model and more information, I understand that the odometer is not marking the correct speed and the fuel indicator is not stable Most of the time the speed is not marking correctly is that the spindle or plastic gear are striped if it's a cable operated if it's electrical then it could be the speed sensor on the transmission now with the fuel gauge there could be a loss negative cable if you can give me make and model and motor maybe I can give you more information good luck

2005 S Isuzu Ascender Speedometer niddle moved all the way to the right of gage and as not moved.

If the odometer is working correctly, the problem is inside the speedometer head.
The speed sensor would be on the side of the transmission if the odometer is not working.

Is there a fuse or relay for electronicshifting 2003 ford ranger edge 3.0 and where please. My truck wont shift above 25mph

shift solenoids are controlled by the pcm. a blown fuse is most likely not your problem. could be just a speed sensor issue, or shift solenoid/internal trans. problems

My 2002 Ford Escape stalls on a hot day.

I can give you a lead on the problem you describe. Since the problem occurs with Hot weather use, there should be a temperature sensor involved. I envision a STEP-UP circuit triggered by the Heat which probably increases RPM by advancing the engine timing. Either that or it orders the ISO valve to increase RPM.

Since you are experiencing the problems at 25MPH and below the Timing may not be fully advanced. Thus the Computer is not getting a signal from the Temperature sensor or the signal is going to the Computer and and it does not respond.

There are usually 2 speeds for the Cooling fan. High Speed may not work and it may need to work to kick in the RPM STEP-UP.

Please contact me when you find the problem so I can share. You seem to be doing your best and I hope my theories lead to a solution.

We have a 2005 Ford Ranger Supercab. While driving the bakkie starts to shake, as if it gets a speed wobble. We have spoken to many other owners of Ford Supercabs and double cabs and it seems as if there...

The speed wobble problem is serious on my vehicle. It is so bad at times if you hit a certain angle or speed ration on certain roads that it feels as if the vehicle wants to throw you out of the cockpit.I have spent R15 000 up to date on it also through Ford's good advice and have now given it back to Ford to resolve, The same day 3 other vehicles got taken in.I say everyone with a Ford Ranger cab should take it in and park their vehicles in the entrance of the workshop and walk away with the keys . They will soon get the message that it is their problem and not the drivers problem.

I have a 1996 Ford Ranger extended cab with automatic transmission. In drive the transmission slips. It just started to do this after a replaced gas tank. I checked the fluid and it is at correct level....

Run and obd2 scan at autozone or advance. this is free. This will let you know if any sensors are bad and it will give you a course of action. It could be your input or output speed sensor or your ECM or TCM. Exhaust these options before pinpointin the transmission as the problem Its also possible when they replaced the gas tank they dislodged a ground connection. Good Luck
